What He Desires

You're probably wondering what does this book have to do with what He The Almighty God desires? Well to answer your question a lot and I mean A LOT! When I read the first chapter of this book I was amazed. Even reading the forewords which had two forewords instead of one for whatever reason I have no clue. But, we always want God to touch our hearts and He does but what about His heart. This book is about finding intimacy with God. We all know what intimacy is, right? According to Dictionary.com, Intimacy is a close, familiar and usually affectionate or loving personal relationship with another person or group. Now obviously God is a person but He's not even a person but a spirit. For He longs for us and desires a close relationship with each and every one of us. Some people joke that He would be cheating on me if I call Him my husband. That's not possible because He is this GREAT BIG GOD. He is everything you can think of and much more. He wants that intimacy with us. As a single person, I see Him as my husband and someone that I need to have a close, intimate relationship with. It needs to start with Him because if you have a closeness with Him all of your other relationships including the husband that will come later will be great. If your relationship with God is not good then how can you expect your other relationship to be good?  I am currently on chapter 3 of this book, I have the kindle edition. It is sooooo good. I am learning a lot from this author. This author knows what intimacy with God is like. It is amazing how he even puts his own story with God as well. In the beginning of this book, he makes a comparison between his role as a dad to God who is The Father. It was amazing and it made me think about how much I really give what God wants. God wants to have intimacy too just remember that. This book will show you that so get it if you want to build your relationship with God more. Of course, I know we all do. Worship Him, take Him out as Heather Lindsey says and just spend time with Him as if you would spend time with a friend or loved one.

Withholding Nothing

So a sister sent me this song this past week and I listened to it, but I didn't really listen to it until this morning. God is so awesome and so gracious. I love my Daddy. Yes He is my Daddy. He is my Daddy-O as those in the islands say. This makes me smile and laugh, but it is so true. CAN YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE WITHHOLDING NOTHING? Ask yourself this question. If you haven't listened to this song, I think that you should. As a person, that loves worship and praise, this song is amazing and it is so true. I had to message my sister and tell her to send me her album so that I may put it on my itunes. This song has a message. It says that Lord I surrender all to you, everything I give to you. then it says Withholding Nothing and it says it again. There's another part of the song in which is says I give you all of me and then it say King Jesus, my Savior. It speaks of who that the surrendering and giving all to. Can you say that you have decided that I am tired of living the ways that I have been living and what I have been doing? The fact that I am facing some hardships and that I can't take it anymore. I have declared and decreed that Jesus that I am withholding nothing. It may not happen overnight but the fact that I put it in the airwaves for Jesus and the enemy to hear, means that it is to come. So, make that declaration this day that you will not stand it any longer and give your life to the one that has laid His life down just for you because He loves you, He loves me, the whole world. John 3:16 states "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish(not be destroyed, not die) but have everlasting(eternal) life." I am so grateful for the day when God chose me to come to Him because if it wasn't for Him, I don't know where I would be. I know I would be a mess. I give all of my insecurities, doubts, fears, hurt, pain to Jesus because He can take those things and make a treasure out of me. For I am so worth it in His eyes and I am thankful that through Him I am understanding my worth and who I really am in Him. Those things that I have been asking for and seeking Him for I will receive but in His time and not mine. I can't rush the time of God. I have to give up some things and remove things first out of my life before I can obtain what He has for me. I can only do this by indulging in Jesus and making it my business to be in His presence, His Word and His Will for my life.

Nature Reveals God's Glory

Good morning everyone, it is definitely in the hour of 5am. But, I thought of writing a blog to you this morning about God's glory being revealed in nature. I know there's a God if I didn't believe before because there are things that can't be explained. There's a mystery behind it and God is mysterious. That's why he wants to continuously seek Him. It's not only because we need to if we want to keep a balanced life/diet in the spirit. Everything starts at the spiritual aspect. Natural just came because man implements it. But, I love looking at the sky and one of my desires is to go stargazing. I love looking at the stars and that is my dream. Some times it is great to stop what we are doing and take a second to look around us no matter what we're facing. How can we not know that it is God because look at it: how did the sky become blue and how did the sun,moon, and stars appear where they are? Scientists prove certain things to justify these questions but don't believe everything you read. Think about it and know that it is God whether you believe in Him or not. He is THE GREAT CREATOR. This is just something to think about. As you look at the two photos that I have placed you can see the beauty of it all. It is so glorious and a blessing to us to have the view that we have. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. Now it is so cold out and it was decent out then also. I hope you know that nature reveals God's glory if you didn't before.

What Worship Will Do For You

One thing that I can say about me is that I love to worship and I mean LOVE  to worship. Today, I was at school in the office of the club that I  am apart of and we put on some music. I'm telling you  that  I began to usher his presence in. I must say that He is so great, I am so privileged and honored to be His friend and not just a friend but CHILD. Worship can take you places where you have never been before and you could be facing some hardships and worship and God can hear you and honor that worship and turn things around for you. We are made to worship Him. That's our purpose for our creation. A lot of people may not agree with this but I believe it to be so. I am facing hardships right now and I have never felt so great as I do because I worshiped Him and not only that I praised Him and I danced. I don't know what's about to happen, but I praise and serve the living God. The most High God because that's what He is to me. I know something will come for me because of my worship and God hears me. He hears our heart's cry when we worship.What worship is is sweet whispers to God that no one can hear and understand but God. You don't know why I worship God the way I do and you don't know why I praise Him the way I do. But, I have a story and we all have a story. God is a good and all He wants is to be worshiped and adored. He does so much for us: He breathes life into us and lets us know that we are His chosen people. I don't know about you but for God to actually think of me and have thoughts for me is a GLORIOUS thing. It is so amazing that this GREAT BIG GOD has me in mind when He has better things to think of. But, I know that this is true because He loved me and you sooooooo much that He sent JESUS, whom He loves and is well pleased  with. His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to die on the cross for us that our sins may be washed in His blood and that He may remember of them no more once we accept Him. I can't help it but worship and people may think I'm crazy but it doesn't matter because at the end of the day, this is what will go on in Heaven day after day after DAY. He is worthy to be praised and worthy is the lamb that was slain just for me....and you. Worship will bring you to your knees in total surrender and in reverence of Him. I'd rather bow now than later because all will bow and know Christ is Lord. This is so amazing because He knows our thoughts and the very hairs that are on our head. I am so in love with Him and Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. Falling in love with Jesus is the  best thing that I've ever done. So worship is something that is vital to us and the relationship that we have with the Father. It is one of the many weapons that we have and the enemy can't stand our worship. He gets confused as we worship. Just one thing I leave with you: God loves worshipers!!!!!!

Freedom in Him

We are free to worship Him! So why not do so and give what is due to Him. To worship you I live oh God. You sit High and look down low. Praise and glory is due to You. You are incomparable.
